I spoke with a woman who claimed to be the supervisor. I was denied the service to duplicate my key.Īfter leaving the location, I called back the facility and asked to speak with the supervisor. and I needed the mailbox key to obtain this mail addressed to myself. ![]() So, although I provided a current Electric bill for last month's utility bill that was mailed to me at this rental address. I drove over to the location and the clerk denied the service to duplicate my key since, I was told that, I do not physically live at that address. I was advised by the Community Association that these mailboxes are owned by the Post Office and I needed to go to their facility to request/purchase duplicate keys. I have always kept the third and last key stored/saved in my files to avoid the actual cost and time involved in having to change the entire lock. I am down to one key from the original three keys to my mailbox. I am having a problem with obtaining duplicate keys for my cluster mailbox related to the property that I own and I am renting in Virginia Beach, VA.
